Zucco is an Italian family restaurant in Meanwood a suburb of Leeds, specialising in Italian sharing plates. A menu designed to have 4-7 dishes between 2 with a range of pizzette, fresh seafood, meat and pasta dishes with roots in the south of Italy, the menu is influenced by cuisine from across the whole of the boot.
We have an ever changing menu depending on availability and seasons meaning there is always something new to try, however there are a few classic staples that never leave for fear of upsetting our loyal regulars.

The restaurant was founded by brothers Michael & Rosario Leggiero who had over 50 years combined experience in the industry, Michael specialising in the kitchen and Rosario front of house.
Sons of Michael, Matteo & Joe are slowly taking over the reigns with elder brother Matteo running the restaurant whilst Joe is currently working in the kitchen and will eventually take over from Michael. Michaels wife Clare also works there along side her day job as well as their other son Luca. A true family restaurant.

Our menu changes daily depending on the season and what ingredients we can source fresh.
The main bulk of the menu will stay the same so we don’t upset our loyal customers, however there should always be a few new dishes for you to try when you come in.
